Rigibore® standard boring units

Evolved from the need for a boring system that would substantially improve rigidity over existing products, the Rigibore® boring unit was designed to fully utilise the power available in modern machine tools.

It enables consistently outstanding metal removal rates for a wide range of machining needs.

 

There are three basic types:

The ‘R’ Standard Unit

used for roughing and finishing operations. Mounted directly into a tool hole in the bar or holder

Rigibore 'R' units
angular mounted (l) and square mounted (r) type 'R' units

The ‘TR’ Top-Adjusting Unit

used for light roughing and fine finishing operations. Mounted directly into a tool hole in the bar or holder

Rigibore 'TR' units
angular mounted (l) and square mounted (r) type 'TR' units

The ‘MBTR/SAB’ Fine Boring Unit

used only for finishing operations. This top-adjusting unit is bush mounted, and is designed to fit both new and existing bush holes in our customers’ bars or holders
